Goods still abundant after Tet

After the lunar new year festival (Tet), consumer products and food in Nha Trang are abundant, satisfying demand of consumers. 

 

Supermarkets in Nha Trang reopened soon. Lotte Mart Nha Trang has reopened since the 2nd day of the lunar new year; Big C since the 3rd day; Coopmart Nha Trang since the 4th day. All products of processed foodstuff, vegetable, fruits, consumer products, etc. are enough for buyers. Nguyen Minh Tuan, director of Lotte Mart Nha Trang, shared, “In the first reopening day after Tet, the supermarket received about 5,000 customers, getting VND1 billion in revenue. Food and service areas were crowded with customers. On next days, the supermarket welcomed 6,000 – 7,000 customers a day.”

 

 

 

After Tet, Big C Nha Trang received about 4,000 customers a day, with a three time increase in revenue over normal days. 

 

At markets like Dam Market, Vinh Hai Market, Xom Moi Market, Phuoc Thai Market, etc., sellers also restarted soon. According to some sellers, vegetable from Da Lat was carried to Nha Trang from the 2nd day of the lunar new year.

 

Thanks to the abundant supply, price of vegetable and fruits showed decrease. Most kinds of vegetable increased by VND5,000 – VND10,000/kg. Fruits also made a slight decrease in price. After Tet, meat purchase power is not high, then their prices are stable.
