Salt production of Khanh Hoa Province in the first quarter of 2018 hit 1,109 tons. Up to now, local people haven’t started the salt crop. Most of the salt have been made by businesses, mainly Khanh Hoa Salt Joint Stock Company.
Salt sales in the first quarter was 411 tons, the inventory was 698 tons. Price in the first quarter of 2018 was 1.3 – 1.4 million/ton.
The whole province has 975 hectares of salt farms, including 118 hectares by cooperatives, 637 hectares by businesses and 220 hectares by salt workers.
