The work of Cam Ranh International Terminal started construction in September, 2016 with total investment of VND3,735 billion. The international terminal can serve 4,000 passengers at a same time. The terminal has a large scale, so it needs a big amount of electricity.
According to Nguyen Cao Ky, general of Khanh Hoa Power Joint Stock, to supply power for the terminal, VND8.6 billion has been invested in infrastructures.

To finish soonest, Khanh Hoa Power Joint Stock met related units to agree execution plan in detail way. At present, units are stepping up execution progress of related items to finish the work in the shortest time which is expected to be before May 31 to ensure electricity supply in time for the opening of Cam Ranh international terminal in early June.
Hoang Ngoc Tu, director of Cam Ranh - Khanh Son Power, said, “Beside executing related items, Cam Ranh - Khanh Son Power has prepared human resources to operate power system when the international terminal goes into operation. All will ensure continuity and safety for the whole system. Before supplying power officially, we will check and make an experiment to ensure the operation of the internal terminal.”
