Agricultural production supported to develop

On March 13, 2017, the provincial People’s Committee has delivered Decision 661 on the policy on agricultural production and rural services in the province for the period of 2017 – 2020. The policy aims to encourage and support organizations and individuals to invest to develop agricultural production, fishery, salt work processing, farm product consumption and rural industries in the province.
 
Under this decision, in August, 2017, the provincial People’s Committee supported more than VND14 billion for localities to change plants and breeding animals. Khanh Son District was supported more than VND7.4 billion; Khanh Vinh District: VND2.2 billion; other localities: VND85 million – VND1.3 billion. The support is used to support changing plants, breeding and linking production and sale of farm products.

According to Nguyen Ngoc Hieu, manager of the provincial Agriculture and Rural Development Department of Khanh Son District, in 2017, the district set a target to change more than 228 hectares of plants with total expenditure of more than VND17.6 billion, including VND7.4 billion supported by the State. In 2018, the province has also decided to pour about VND14 billion for localities to support locals to develop agriculture and rural services.
 
According to Khanh Hoa Province Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, plant changing in recent years has been popular. Areas of corn, manioc, sugarcane, coffee, pepper, cashew nuts, etc. and some ineffective areas of rice have been change more valuable plants like fruit trees, vegetable, etc. Similarly, breeding has made strong changes from small scale to large scale with big and modern farms.
