The campaign "Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods" not only has made consumers closer with Vietnamese products but also has helped businesses advertise and sell their products. For example, the safe food fair organized by the provincial Industry Encouragement and Trade Promotion Center in mid April with more than 60 booths attracted a lot of visitors who are locals and tourists. Only in 4 days, producers sold a large amount of goods at the fair: Long Phat Khanh Vinh Co., Ltd.: over 300kg of pork/day; Dakbaz Coffee Co., Ltd (Ban Me Thuot City): nearly 2 quintals of coffee; Ngoc Phong business (Khanh Son District): 7 quintals of grapefruits, 4 quintals of bananas, etc. In addition, after the fair, the businesses had more dealers and customers, which partly helped them to expand distribution. This also shows that consumers have chosen Vietnamese products more, especially safe products with clear origin.
In response to the campaign, supermarkets also organize a lot of marketing events for Vietnamese products. Then, thousands of products have been discounted and given gifts to encourage consumers to buy Vietnamese products more. Especially, supermarkets also cooperate with local producers to develop products with their brandnames. According to a marketing representative of Lotte Mart Vietnam, Lotte Mart has exported Vietnamese products worth about VND1,300 billion in 2016, and over VND2,000 billion in 2017. Exported Vietnamese products are fishery, fashion, bath gel, cleaning liquid, kitchen tools, etc.
Locally-made products also dominate traditional markets. On shelves of clothes, footwear, confectionery, home appliances, etc., Vietnamese products make up a big amount.

Recently, the provincial People’s Committee has delivered a plan to forward the campaign implementation. Accordingly, the provincial People’s Committee directed departments to support businesses in competition capacity and market expansion, intensify market management, food safety and protection of consumers’ right. As a clue of the plan, the provincial Department of Industry and Trade has organized two market days to bring Vietnamese products to rural areas and a safe food market. At present, the department is carrying out the project to set up Vietnamese goods selling points in the province.
