The recent workshop to introduce typical farm products of Khanh Hoa Province in 2018 was organized in a new and practical way. The workshop was attended not only by scientists, administrators and businesses, but also by farmers who directly created products.
The workshop let farmers present their knowledge as well as experience in production. This helped attenders know information about farming and breeding from people who directly create products. Dao Van Yen, in Son Binh, Khanh Son is known as a farmer good at production and business. From empty hands, he has become a rich person by farming. At the workshop, he shared experience in growing durian trees. Nguyen Xuan Long is an example in growing green-skin grapefruits in Khanh Vinh District. At the workshop, he shared his process to grow and develop grapefruit trees on the soil of Khanh Vinh District. Some farmers in Van Hung Commune, Van Ninh District shares their experience in growing garlic.
In breeding, raisers discussed about technologies in breeding chicken and pigs and some ways in disposal treatment.
Also at the workshop, special farm products and technologies for production have been displayed as proofs. For example, at fruit booths, attenders can try many kinds of fruits like grapefruits, durians, jack-fruits, pineapples, guavas, bananas, manioc, etc, to feel their quality.

Nguyen Xuan Long, a farmer said that the workshop was a practical activity helping farmers access the province’s agriculture, learn some technologies in planting and breeding, and share results, experience as well as difficulties in production. He also desired there would be more similar activities for farmers to develop production together.
According to Le Tan Ban, director of the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the workshop was attended by a lot of scientists and State management officials related to agriculture. Difficulties of farmers related to farming technologies were answered by scientists. Problems in State management were explained for farmers. Besides, the workshop was also an opportunity to find linking and product sale.
