Owning to the favorable weather, rambutan yield this year is higher than that last year. A 6-7 year old plant gives 90 – 100 kilograms. Rambutans are purchased at VND20,000/kg for Thai variety and at VND15,000 – VND17,000/kg for Indonesian variety.
After expenses, growers earn about VND1 million on a 6-year-old Thai rambutan trees.
