Nhat Minh Breeding Co., Ltd. (Dien Xuan Commune, Dien Khanh District) is a breeding pig supplier. Each year, the company supplies 246,000 breeding pigs and 1,500 tons of pork for the province and the South East region. However, the storm Damrey in end 2017 caused the company damages worth VND20 billion. According to Huynh Thi Chin, board chairwoman of the company, in the difficult time, the province’s leadership encourages the company to repair the damages, Agribank Khanh Hoa gave a loan and the State budget supported more than VND30 million in interest. It has also encouraged the company to repair damages soon. Up to now, the company has recovered 90% of the damages and it is lending more capital for production.
Ninh Quang Agricultural Cooperative 1 has total area of 223 hectares growing rice and has built up the trademark of Ngoc Quang Rice. The storm Damrey in end 2017 damaged producing shop, store, rice, etc. VND750 million of the banking loan has been lost. After the storm, Agribank Khanh Hoa has kept giving loan to this company and supported over VND7.5 million.
Tue Nhan Plus Co., Ltd. (Nha Trang) is sub-contractor of a project on Tam Island. The storm damaged embankments, bungalows and building materials. The company has been supported VND30 million via Bao Viet Bank – Khanh Hoa Branch. Four other companies supported in lending interests are Khanh Hoa Salt Joint Stock Company (VND43.4 million), Phu Khanh Material Joint Stock Company (VND8.9 million), Nha Trang Farm Product Import Export Joint Stock Company (VND38 million), and Khanh Hoa Seafood Investment Company Limited (VND10.7 million).
According to Director of the State Bank – Khanh Hoa Branch Nguyen Hoai Chieu, 4 credit institution branches have asked for a support for interests of new loans to recover production for 7 businesses with VND168.8 million in total by June, 2018. The State budget has transferred the support to the credit institution branches.
