With the target to bring Vietnamese products to consumers and facilitate local producers in domestic markets, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has launched the program of selling points in provinces and cities.

With the target to bring Vietnamese products to consumers and facilitate local producers in domestic markets, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has launched the program of selling points in provinces and cities. In Khanh Hoa Province, the program has been launched in Khanh Vinh Districta and Khanh Son District.

Service - trade centers of Khanh Vinh District and Khanh Son District were chosen as the places to organize Vietnamese product selling points financed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Right from September, the centers have decorated and arranged goods on shelves.

At the selling point in Khanh Vinh District, we saw a lot of kinds of goods, most of which are necessities like cooking oil, washing powder, shampoo, confectionery, instant noodle, etc. Nguyen Van Chinh, director of the center, said, “Goods at the center value about VND2 - 3 billion with about 40 - 50 kinds of consumer products. Vietnamese products have good quality and reasonable prices, therefore they are chosen by most locals. The project to build Vietnamese product selling points by the provincial Department of Industry and Trade is very useful to remote mountainous areas to partly bring more Vietnamese goods to them.”

The selling point in Khanh Son District also was impressive with panels and reasonable way displaying goods. The signboard “Vietnamese goods selling point” sponsored by the provincial Department of Industry and Trade made buyers trust in quality of goods here.

The program of Vietnamese goods selling points is an activity under the project to develop domestic market launched by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The provincial Department of Industry and Trade has built a model of Vietnamese goods selling points in Khanh Son District and Khanh Vinh District. The department coordinated with localities to survey and choose selling points according to regulations of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The of Industry and Trade also supported each selling point with VND40 million for marketing, decoration, etc. The project will also organize a conference to connect producers, traders and consumers.

The provincial Department of Industry and Trade will reckon up effects of the model and propose the provincial People’s Committee to multiply this project in district, towns and cities in the province.
