The authorities at all levels in Khanh Hoa Province have attended to preserving and developing industries and trade villages.
After recognizing 11 traditional trades, trade villages and traditional trade villages and launching policies to support them, the provincial People’s Committee in early 2018 supported nearly VND4 billion for 6 traditional trades, trade villages and traditional trade villages in the province. Then, they have invested to develop towards raising the products’quality beside preserving traditional features of the land Khanh Hoa Province.
Hoang Dinh Hau, deputy manager of Van Ninh District Economic, said that, “The provincial People’s Committee has supported agarwood trade villages in Phu Hoi 1 Hamlet, Van Thang Commune with VND2.7 billion, including expenditure to build showroom and welcome gate for the trade villages, and advertise products and support machines for production. This is a good sign confirming that the trade village is being cared by the State.” The agarwood village is coming alive and its products have been improved and satisfied the market demand. Then, living of agarwood makers has been improved.

In 2018, basket making village in Suoi Cat Hamlet, Cam Hiep Nam Commune was supported with VND135 million to maintain production. The provincial People’s Committee has also supported VND370 million for Trung Dong pottery making in Ngoc Hiep Ward, Nha Trang; VND130 million for My Trach mat making in Ninh Ha Ward, Ninh Hoa Township; and VND430 million for Phu Loc bronze casting in Dien Khanh Town.
Preserving traditional trades and trade villages is not only keeping features, but also bringing more income for a large number of rural laborers and supporting for some other economic fields.
In the time to come, by exhibitions and fairs, many products of trade villages will be showed as marketing for more stable sales. Many products of trade villages will join selections for typical rural industrial products at regional and national levels.
