Khanh Hoa Province has attracted 33 projects with total registered investment of VND6,653 billion during the first ten months of 2018. 7 projects, including 3 foreign ones, are in Van Phong Economic Zone with VND252 billion registered. Suoi Dau Industrial Zone attracted 2 domestic projects with VND830 billion registered. The province has received 8 delegations from Japan, Russia, Singapore, Korea, etc. to survey investment opportunities in Van Phong Economic Zone like energy, commercial center, high technology, sea port, and oil refining.
Besides, for investment promotion, the provincial People’s Committee has entrusted the provincial Department of Planning and Investment to organize 4 training classes about administrative skills for 140 businesses, and one seminar “Improving ability of Vietnamese enterprises to join the global value chain” for 70 businesses.
