Implementing fishery developing policies under Decree 67 and Decree 17, Khanh Hoa Province launched 30 boats in 2018. Under Decision 48 by the Prime Minister, in 2018, the province verified and approved supports with petroleum, equipment, communication machines and insurance contracts for 1,924 fishing trips of 515 boats with total expenditure of nearly VND146 billion.
In 2018, fishing yield of the whole province hit 98,000 tons, increasing by 2.83% that in 2017; aquaculture yield reached nearly 10,500 tons, decreasing by 16.77%. Aquaculturea area in 2018 totalled about 4,000 hectares.
