But now, price to paint my house is so high that I decided not to have my house painted.” Like Thuy and Cuong, many local people have desire to renew their house before Tet but it’s very difficult to have workers to do.

The demand for house repair before Tet is very big, but they can receive a certain number of contracts to ensure workers not to be overloaded and ensure progress for customers.
Beside companies, workers like masons, painters, electricians, etc. also work hard and earn money on this occasion because of the big demand and higher pay.
According to Tran Thanh Thong, a contractor with 25 painters, he has to devide his painters to small groups of 2 – 3 for many works at the same time. The painters have to work by day and at night these days. During the daytime, they work outdoor and at night, they work indoor.
