As usual, power makes up 0.2 – 2.5% of cost price. Therefore, the rise in power cost will influence on profit of the company. Moreover, when production cost rises due to the increase in power cost, cost price of products also will go up. The company will meet difficulties in competition.
Representative of Hyundai Vinashin also said that profit of contracts made with the old power price are surely influenced. However, the company has launched some ways to save power but still ensure production.
