New expectations for clean energy source in Khanh Hoa Province

Dinh Xuan Hai Sang, general director of Song Giang Solar Power Joint Stock Company, said, the plant started construction in November, 2018 and signed power sale contracts with Vietnam Electricity then. After 6 months under construction, the plant has sold power since May 8, supplying more power for the province.

 

Song Giang Solar Power Plant is using advanced power generating technology of EPC Waaree Energies Limited, an Indian leading supplier for renewable energy projects. Waaree has executed more than 280 solar power projects in India and more than 68 countries in the world.

 

 

 

The plant has installed 136,890 panels to transform solar energy directly to power. Each panel has capacity of 365Wp. 9 transformer stations have been built. The plant has been connected with the national grid. 

 

According to Shiv Kumar Mishra, project manager of Song Giang Solar Power Plant General Contractor, “This is a wonderful and challenging project to us. Despite difficulties due to rains, we have finished the project in record time. To put the project into operation sooner than the schedule,  the general contractor Waaree and sub-contractors Toji, Thanh Nhan, Van Tuong, EMETC, NT Power, TNC, etc., the consultor Power Engineering Consulting Indochina Joint Stock Company, and construction supervisor Khanh Viet ECC Co., Ltd. have cooperated and tried their best to step up progress.”

 

Beside supplying more power for the country, Song Giang Solar Power Joint Stock has contibuted in developing the mountainous communes in Cam Ranh. The company has created jobs for 500 local laborers, joined charity activities and social acivities like sponsoring more than 60 computers for 3 primary schools and 1 secondary schools in Cam Thanh Nam Commune, Cam Thinh Dong Commune and Cam Thinh Tay Commune, giving 58 television to households whose land is revoked, etc.
