Khanh Hoa Farm Product Fair, which was organized succesfully in 2018, will be back, promising a lot of interests this year. The fair, hosted by the provincial Farmers' Association, is planned to still take place at Yen Phi Park, Nha Trang from 8 to 12, August.
Khanh Hoa Farm Product Fair, which was organized succesfully in 2018, will be back, promising a lot of interests this year. The fair, hosted by the provincial Farmers’ Association, is planned to still take place at Yen Phi Park, Nha Trang from 8 to 12, August.
The fair features typical agricultural products of Khanh Hoa Province like durians of Khanh Son, mangoes of Cam Lam, coconuts of Ninh Hoa, garlic of Van Ninh, grapefruits of Khanh Vinh, etc. All of them must meet requirements of quality and safety.
Besides, the organizers will set up a Vietnamese rural cuisine space with food and special decoration. Food stalls such as banh canh, bun ca, banh can, banh xeo, processed seafood, and types of sweet soup will be arranged like a unique countryside corner.
The fair will be highlighted by a country singing festival. This is an activity for members of the provincial Farmers’ Association. Each locality will send to two items of singing, dancing, performing traditional musical instruments or animation to perform in the festival. The items have the content of praising the Party and Uncle Ho, praising the homeland, the country, the peasantry and the Vietnam Farmers’ Association. In particular, folk-style self-compelling repertoire is encouraged.

According to Dang Thi Thanh Suong - Vice Chairman of Khanh Vinh District Farmers' Association when farmers in the district are very excited with the country singing festival at the fair. In 2018, Khanh Vinh District organized a country singing contest and chosen two excellent to join the festival. The district has selected 2 items to practice in order to participate in the festival. According to Pham Tam - Vice Chairman of Van Ninh District Farmers' Association, along with the preparation of local typical agricultural products, Van Ninh District has prepared the performances for the festival.
According to Nguyen Trong Trung - Chairman of the provincial Farmers’ Association, the fair is expected fully convey features of farming, culture and cuisine of the land to local people and visitors. People who come to the fair not only can buy local farm product, but only can enjoy local rural food and watch art items. All will bring visitors an comprehensive view on the rural and agricultural life in Khanh Hoa Province.
