The State Bank of Vietnam – Khanh Hoa Branch has just issued a document about boosting non-cash payment in public services.
Accordingly, the State Bank of Vietnam – Khanh Hoa Branch directed the branches of credit institutions in the localities to cooperate with the provincial departments and public organizations to promote cashless payment in public services through mobile, point-of-sale (POS) system, QR Code, e-banking services, digital wallets, etc. At first, these methods of non-cash payment will be applied intensively in the sectors of health and education.
The State Bank of Vietnam – Khanh Hoa branch also directed the relevant units to offer reasonable service fees and promotion programs as well as provide information about non-cash payment services in order to boost the use of non-cash payment methods among public service providers and customers.
