The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has just issued Decision No.3919, defining ports in Vietnam which are qualified to serve foreign fishing vessels in importing, temporary importing for re-exporting, and transiting seafood and fishery products, etc. through the territory of Vietnam (stage 1).

Accordingly, Ba Ngoi Port and South Van Phong Port of Khanh Hoa Province are among the ports defined in the decision.
The decision was promulgated in accordance with the Agreement on Port State Measures to specifically target illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing of the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO), Decree No. 26/2019 of the Government, and some current legal documents, and so on.
