Severe penalties for hoarding and overpricing masks

In Nha Trang, on the afternoon on January 31, the market management staff carried out inspections at 24 pharmacies and stores selling medical masks and disinfectants. Only over ten out of 24 facilities still had supply of medical masks with a total of more than 2,300 masks. At these facilities, medical masks had trademarks and have been sold at the listed prices of from VND2,000; no sign of hoarding was found out.

According to the pharmacies and stores, around early next week, there will be more supply of medical equipments when the companies start operation after Tet. The inspections continue on February 1 and 2 and days after. 
 
Severe penalties will be applied for hoarding and overpricing of medical products which are essential to prevent the spread of new coronavirus (nCoV).
