According to a representative of Agribank Khanh Hoa, on April 29, the bank has restructured the repayment term, kept the debt group for 93 customers, with the adjusted and extended credit balance of VND208.9 billion. Of the sum, there are 67 individual customers with VND25.2 billion in outstanding loans, and 26 legal customers with VND183.7 billion in outstanding loans. At the same time, the bank has implemented exemption and reduction of interest and fees for borrowers on the debt balance of VND60.2 billion.
The bank branch has so far implemented a preferential credit program for customers affected by Covid-19 epidemic issued by Agribank with a funding of up to VND100,000 billion, and preferential interest rates from 0.5%/year up to 2.5%/year. As a result, the branch has made disbursement for 99 customers, with the loan revenue of VND103 billion. In which, there are 68 individual customers with loans of VND42.7 billion; 31 legal customers with loans of VND60.3 billion.
Besides, Agribank Khanh Hoa has implemented free money transfer in support of Covid-19 prevention; reducing e-banking fees, inter-bank electronic money transfer fees for customers making transactions during Covid-19 period, encouraging non-cash transactions and card services via online applications such as internet banking, Agribank E-Mobile banking or via POS, ATM/CDM.
Doing social security, joining hands for the community
In addition to ensuring the prevention and control of Covid-19 and applying solutions to support customers to overcome difficulties caused by the disease, Agribank Khanh Hoa has also actively contributed to support the prevention and control of epidemics. Accordingly, officials and employees of Agribank Khanh Hoa have donated 1 day's salary to the fund to fight the Covid-19 epidemic of the Central government with the amount of VND192 million; mobilized the officials and employees to contribute and extract social charity funds of the union to give 2 tons of rice to Nha Trang City Red Cross, and give 8 tons of rice worth VND120 million to poor people in districts, towns and cities in the province. In addition, 16 youth unionists of Agribank Khanh Hoa donated blood to joining coping with emergencies caused by the Covid-19 epidemic.
On May 9, Agribank Khanh Hoa labor union cooperated with Khanh Vinh District Youth Union to deliver 2 tons of rice to 200 households in extremely difficult circumstances, the elderly, and the disable in the communes of Khanh Phu, Khanh Nam, Khanh Thanh and Khanh Vinh towns. In addition, the unit mobilized Tin Thinh Co., Ltd. (Suoi Dau Industrial Zone) to support each of them with 1 liter of cooking oil. Cao Thi Nguyen (Khanh Phu commune) said that the amount of rice and cooking oil helped her to reduce difficulties because of the drought.
