As reported by Van Ninh District Bureau of Economic (Khanh Hoa Province), the district has checked and taken over the crop conversion of ineffective rice cultivation land into 44 hectares of other crops in the communes of Xuan Son, Van Khanh, Van Phuoc, and Van Phu, including corn (7.85 hectares), peanuts (4.37 hectares); papayas (2,73 hectares), green peas (3.57 hectares), watermelons (18.29 hectares), pumpkins (6.1 hectares), and some root vegetables (1.5 hectares).
In 2020, Van Ninh District plans to convert 162.48 hectares of crops, of which there are 93.96 hectares of rice and 67.71 hectares of annuals and perennials.
