Many practical activities
Recently, the provincial People's Committee has had many solutions to remove difficulties, accelerate the construction of technical infrastructure and attract investment in industrial clusters in the province. The province also continues simplifying administrative procedures and conditions in business investment as well as reform inspection to create favorable conditions for businesses and people. In the first 6 months of the year, the tax sector has conducted more than 7,000 consultations to support businesses and taxpayers. In particular, there were more than 1,400 cases supported directly at the tax authorities, 5,473 cases supported via telephone, 113 cases answered by written document and 15 problems via electronic tax system. Implementing the program "Accompanying with startup businesses" of the General Department of Taxation, the Tax Department has directly supported 149 startups and indirectly supported more than 2,000 businesses.
In addition, the provincial People's Committee prioritizes resources to support businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, to, master technologies and innovate technologies to develop key products of the province. Relevant departments and agencies also regularly provide guidance to enterprises on the implementation of salaries and bonuses, adjusting the minimum wage for employees, implementing the democratic regulations at the grassroots level, checking the observance of law provisions on labor, wages and social insurance. Regarding the effects of the Covid-19 epidemic, the provincial Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs has verified and confirmed for 74 enterprises and production - business establishments having 50% and more of employees participating in social insurance to temporarily leave jobs, for enterprises to temporarily suspend the retirement and survivorship fund. Khanh Hoa Employment Service Center helps the fastest connection between labor supply and demand for enterprises and employees.
According to Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Industry and Trade Tran Van Ngoan, in addition to the above-mentioned support activities, industrial promotion and trade promotion have also been strengthened. In particular, the Center for Industrial Encouragement and Trade Promotion of the province supports rural industrial establishments whose products are registered to vote for typical rural industrial products at the Central and Highlands region level, assisting enterprises in introducing typical agricultural products to e-commerce trading floor. Regarding investment promotion on the spot, the provincial People's Committee welcomed and worked with 3 foreign delegations from the US and Japan to study investment opportunities in Van Phong Economic Zone in various fields such as minerals, oil refining and petrochemistry, gas, electricity ... In addition, the provincial People's Committee also has many policies to support enterprises affected by Covid-19 epidemic such as lending and reducing interest rates.

Keep improving business environment
From now till the end of the year, the provincial People's Committee determines to continue improving the business environment and enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises strongly. Accordingly, the province continues to simplify regulations on business conditions; fully and thoroughly implement reforms on business conditions and improve business environment for enterprises. The management, specialized inspection and connection of the national portal will be comprehensively reformed. The provincial People's Committee requests relevant departments and branches to develop an ecosystem of innovation, support, and encourage businesses to start their own businesses.
In the coming time, departments and agencies are required to further improve the investment environment, reform administrative procedures, remove bottlenecks in production and business, and create motivation for enterprises to develop. The provincial People's Committee noted the relevant branches and units to remove difficulties and create favorable conditions on accessing capital, credit, finance, reviewing and grasping the situation of production and business, the extent of damage of borrowers due to the effects of Covid-19 epidemic, especially the sectors and fields that could be affected such as tourism, transportation, agriculture, export, transportation, etc.; continue debt restructuring, debt freezing, debt rescheduling, interest rate exemption and reduction, etc.
According to Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan, along with efforts to improve the business environment, the province will focus on attracting large industrial projects in the fields of electrification, liquefied gas storage, industrial infrastructure business in areas such as Ninh Hai, Ninh Tinh (Ninh Hoa town) and Doc Da Trang (Van Ninh district) to achieve the plan to attract new capital of about VND 500 billion. In addition, the province also continues to call for and promote investment in high-tech industry and agriculture and intensifies communication and marketing for the tourist destination Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa.
