Right after the Government issued Resolution No. 115/ND-CP (August 2020) on solutions to promote the development of supporting industry, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to assume the prime responsibility for coordinating with relevant departments and branches to review and build the Supporting Industry Development Program in line with the province's development advantages. Through the review, the Department of Industry and Trade found that the Provincial People's Committee has basically approved the Khanh Hoa Supporting Industry Development Program up to 2025. The Department of Industry and Trade has also submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for promulgation of the Regulation on construction, verification, management and usage of the provincial supporting industry development funding. However, according to the current Resolution No. 115, the construction of the local technical center to support industry development has not been implemented in the Supporting Industry Development Program of Khanh Hoa Province until 2025. Therefore, the Department of Industry and Trade requested the Provincial People's Committee to consider and decide on the implementation of the project to establish the center.
The Department of Home Affairs has considered building the local technical center to support industry development on the basis of upgrading, building new facilities or adding functions and tasks and rearranging units from the local budget. The Department will study and appraise the project to establish the center after the Department of Industry and Trade builds and submits the proposal for establishment.
According to Le Huu Hoang - Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Industry and Trade to continue to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments and agencies to implement the Government's Resolution No. 115 on developing supporting industry in line with the province's development advantages; consider to establish a local technical center to support industry development in the province and then report to the Provincial People's Committee.
