The Minister of Transport has just promulgated Circular 27 announcing the port waters within Khanh Hoa Province’s territory and areas under the management of Maritime Administration of Nha Trang.
Accordingly, Khanh Hoa Province’s port waters include the waters in Van Phong Bay, Nha Trang Bay, Cam Ranh Bay, and Truong Sa (Spratly). Circular 27 also specifies the areas of port waters based on the highest tide level prescribed in each area.

The circular also states that Vietnam Maritime Administration announces the areas for pilot embarkation and disembarkation, quarantine, mooring and anchoring, transshipment and storm-sheltering in Khanh Hoa’s port waters and other waters in line with regulations.
Circular No. 20/2019 of the Minister of Transport announcing the port waters in the territory of Khanh Hoa Province and the areas under the management of Maritime Administration of Nha Trang has been abrogated.
Circular 27 takes effect from December 15.
