Vietnam Records Institute has just announced the results of the program namely journey to find and promote the culinary values and specialties of Vietnam in 2020. Accordingly, four food specialties of Khanh Hoa Province were named in two categories of Vietnam’s top 100.
Specifically, “nem nuong (baked rolls) Ninh Hoa”, “bun ca la dam” (rice vermicelli served with small fillets of fish) of Khanh Hoa were listed in Vietnam’s top 100 dishes; Cam Lam District’s mango and “cha ca (grilled fish) Thuan” are among Vietnam’s top 100 specialty gifts.
The food specialties in the two categories of Vietnam’s top 100 will be given certificates at an event scheduled to be held in Ho Chi Minh City on April 26.
The program to find and promote the culinary values and specialties of Vietnam has been organized nationwide for the past 10 years by Vietnam Record Association (VietKings) and Top Vietnam Association. The top food specialties are promoted in 63 provinces and cities nationwide and in countries whose records associations are the members the World Records Union (WorldKings).
