In 2017, Bo Bo Thi Dinh's household (Xa Boi village) received 42 grapefruit trees to grow from the support of the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Party Committee. After planting trees, she attended training courses on transferring science and technology held in the commune and applied the knowledge in caring for and preventing diseases for her grapefruit trees. At the same time, she intercropped pineapple trees with grapefruit trees. In 2020, her 10 green-skin grapefruit trees began to be harvested. On this lunar new year festival, her family harvested about 50-60 kg. With the earning from selling grapefruits, her family had a fuller Tet.

Mau Quoc Huong's household (Hon Dung village) was also granted 60 grapefruit trees. Up to now, about 40 trees have beared fruits.
