Song Cau Joint Stock Company has put forward Ninh Quang Solar Power Plant project to be invested in the communes of Ninh Quang and Ninh Tan (Ninh Hoa Town) with an area of about 89.8ha. Accordingly, the plant has an installed capacity of 100MWp with a total investment of about VND1,529 billion. The area for the proposed project is a sloping, barren, waterless area; a part of it is used for cultivation, which has been inefficiently. This area is said to have high solar radiation intensity, which is suitable for solar power research and development.
