In the period 2013-2018, the crime of card information and data at ATMs was very complicated. Criminals installed devices at ATMs to steal information of card users. With the responsibility of an officer in charge of ATM operations of BIDV Khanh Hoa, Duong Khoi Nguyen pondered and thought of the above solution. To steal information from ATMs, the subjects had to remove the keyboard cover to install a camera to record customers' passwords. Understanding this key point, Nguyen devised a solution to set an alarm on the branch's security department when the keyboard cover is removed. As a result, the security department will quickly determine the time and location of the ATM being attacked. This solution has been deployed on ATMs of BIDV Khanh Hoa since April 2018 and has been effective. In October 2018, at an ATM located near the Louisiane restaurant area, a foreigner had just removed the keyboard cover when the alarm system at the ATM immediately alerted the security guard's phone; therefore, criminal acts are prevented in time.
