The Ministry of Transport on July 30 signed a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) contract with Deo Ca Group and the joint venture of investors to implement Cam Lam-Vinh Hao section of North-South Highway in the form of public-private partnership.
The section is 78.5km long, 32.35m wide with six lanes. In stage 1, the road has four lanes, 17m wide, with a design speed of 80km/h. The project has a total investment of VND8,925 billion, including about 3,786 billion VND from the investors and around VND4,199 billion from the State capital.
Reportedly, through bidding, the project has saved more than VND891 billion for the state budget capital.
