Strictly following epidemic prevention measures
Sao Viet Cashew Processing Company Limited (Van Thang commune) employs a large number of workers in the district. Currently, the company has about 330 employees working directly in factories and about 500 employees receiving goods to work from home. Over the past time, businesses have implemented many measures to both ensure production and well implement regulations on epidemic prevention and control, especially when implementing social distancing according to Directive 16 of the Prime Minister. Every day, the company arranges a force to check mask wearing and measure the body temperature of all employees. All workers are required to disinfect hands before entering the factory.
In addition, the company has arranged the working positions of the departments to ensure minimum distance of 2m between employees. At the same time, the company has continuously propagated to employees to well obey epidemic prevention and control measures to protect themselves, their families and the community. Ngo Thi Phuong Mai, a worker of the company shared: “In the context of the Covid-19 outbreak, the company has still maintained productio and ensured jobs and income for workers. The company has also fully equipped with labor protection; regularly propagate and remind to raise awareness and responsibility in epidemic prevention of employees”.
Vo The Dien - Director of the company said that ensuring safety against epidemics was identified by enterprises as a top task. If workers are safe, the factory will operate. Therefore, the company allows people in the blockade area to take time off from work; at the same time applying a series of strict epidemic prevention and control measures. As a result, enterprises still maintain stable operations, ensure the progress assigned by the corporation and stabilize jobs for employees. On average, the company processes from 50 to 55 tons of cashew nuts/day.

The producer has actively built a safe production plan to fulfill orders. In production, the producer focuses on implementing measures to prevent and control the epidemic such as measuring employees' body temperature, daily disinfecting production areas and arranging workers at a distance...
Besides, in order to avoid production interruption in case of occurrence of F0 case, the producer has divided labors to work 2 shifts to avoid contact. To transport products to the southern provinces, the producer has rented vehicle of a professional transport company to ensure the timely supply for customers. Therefore, its production operates stably, ensuring jobs and income for employees. Currently, on average, every day, the facility produces more than 3 tons of fish cakes, the main consumption market is Ho Chi Minh City with 60%, the rest is in the province.
Le Hong Phuong - Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee said that the whole district has 215 enterprises, about 6,300 production and business establishments, 14 enterprises managed by the Management Board of Van Phong Economic Zone ... So, the number of workers is very large. With the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, the district has requested all enterprises, production and business establishments to strictly comply with regulations on epidemic prevention and control. Enterprises have to ensure absolute safety when producing so that the disease does not spread into factories. At the same time, the district has strengthened the inspection of epidemic prevention and control plans in enterprises. Thereby, most enterprises and production facilities in the district have performed well in epidemic prevention and control. As a result, production activities haven’t been interrupted, goods supply to the market have been done timely and jobs and income for workers have been ensured.
