Present at the event were Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee; Tran Ngoc Thanh, Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Head of Provincial Party Committee's Commission for Mass Mobilization, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Tai Anh, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Electricity; Nguyen Tuan Tung, Chairman of the Members' Council of EVNNPT; and Pham Le Phu, General Director of National Power Transmission Corporation.

The project of Van Phong 500kV substation and connection is implemented in Ninh Hoa Town, invested by EVNNPT with a total investment of nearly VND1,100 billion. The project is expected to complete and be put into operation in December 2022 with two 900MVA transformers and a new 4-circuit 220kV transmission line, approximately 26.1km long.
The project of Van Phong 500kV substation and connector is a urgent electrical work in the national electricity development to provide safe and uninterrupted power for the load in Khanh Hoa Province and neighboring provinces.

On this occasion, EVNNPT presented Khanh Hoa Province with two ambulances for COVID-19 prevention and control; offered VND2 billion to Ninh Hoa, Cam Lam, Cam Ranh and Dien Khanh for the pandemic prevention and control.
