Accordingly, the committee agreed with the proposal for the operation of domestic routes, period 1 of the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam (CAAV). The committee suggested that CAAV directs the airlines and Cam Ranh International Airport to implement COVID-19 prevention and control measures under the instructions of the Ministry of Transport.
According to the proposal of CAAV, in period 1 (expected to run from October 5 and last for no more than 10 days), 20 flights operate every day between Cam Ranh International Airport and the provinces and cities of Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Da Nang. However, Hanoi and Hai Phong has sent a document to CAAV to refuse to accept domestic passenger flights to these two cities.
