With vegetable, in addition to growing vegetable to supply traditional markets, in the coming period, expanding models of clean, safe vegetable planting, meeting VietGAP standards, to serve urban areas, tourist areas, supermarkets and restaurants is oriented. Similarly, the area of durian is oriented to increase to 2,000 hectares, mainly in Khanh Son and about 1,500 ha of green-skin grapefruits, mainly in Khanh Vinh will be focused on building value chain linkage models in the entire stages from planting, tending, harvesting, processing, selling... in order to further stabilize the output of this high-value agricultural product".

For short-term industrial crops, a concentrated and highly intensive sugarcane area will be invested in Ninh Hoa with an area of about 7,000 hectares. Irrigation works for watering sugarcane will be invested to have more than 1,000 hectares of sugar cane will be irrigated from the irrigation system by 2030.
