Among the hatcheries are 17 black tiger shrimp breeding hatcheries, producing more than 400 million seeds/year; 51 whiteleg shrimp breeding hatcheries, producing more than 3.89 billion seeds /year; 32 marine fish breeding hatcheries (cobia, sea bass, snapper, pompano, grouper), producing more than 37 million seeds /year.
In addition, the province also has many mollusc breeding hatcheries, including 56 sweet snail breeding hatcheries; 90 turgid venus breeding hatcheries; 4 geoduck breeding hatcheries, etc.
Regarding freshwater fish, Khanh Hoa has two breeding hatcheries and one business establishment.
