According to Le Huu Hoang - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, to facilitate the development of rural industry, the Provincial People's Committee has directed the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to pay attention to implementing the industry promoting program for the period 2021-2025. Every year, localities effectively participate in the development of local industry promoting plans, proposing many rural industry establishments with suitable objects for industrial promotion activities to receive support. Technological establishments need to have a plan to invest in machinery and equipment, innovate modern technology to promote competitive advantages as well as produce products of high quality, beautiful design and food safety to meet the needs of consumers and the tourism development needs of the province. In addition, rural industry encourages establishments to associate production with environmental protection, create jobs on the spot and contribute to the province's socio-economic development.
Up to now, the province has held to vote for typical rural industry products 5 times. 181 typical products have reached the provincial level. The province has selected 57 products registered to participate in the selection of typical rural industry products at the Central - Central Highlands region. As a result, 28 products won regional prizes and 21 products were recognized as typical national rural industry products by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Thereby, it shows that Khanh Hoa's rural industry products have a certain position in the country.
Through the organization of voting for typical rural industry products, state management agencies have discovered and honored valuable and potential products to prioritize to support production development and trade promotion for facilities of rural industry.
