Making recovery plan
At the Government's online conference with localities to implement the socio-economic development plan in 2022 on January 5, Nguyen Tan Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman the Provincial People's Committee said that in 2021 was the year the province faced difficulties due to the Covid-19 epidemic and natural disasters in some areas; but, the province achieved dual goals and achieved many targets such as budget revenue exceeding 2%, constructing many projects and opening for tourism. In 2022, the province is determined to achieve economic growth of 8.5%.
To achieve this goal, the provincial People's Committee has issued a plan for socio-economic recovery and development to create unity in the direction and administration; at the same time, ensuring the motto "adapting safely and flexibly, controlling the Covid-19 epidemic effectively", bringing the province to a new normal situation. Thereby, the people's health and life are ensured; and the province steps up local socio-economic recovery and development in the new situation, improve productivity, efficiency, competitiveness, resilience and adaptability of the economy.
In addition to the priority targets for the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic, the province will implement policies to support society and create jobs; control prices, markets to ensure the circulation of goods and balance the economy. At the same time, the province will promote the development of key industries and fields; actively participate in the 4th industrial revolution, vigorously apply scientific and technological advances... On the basis of the socio-economic plan in 2022 and the policy and orientation for epidemic prevention and control in the new situation, the province will develop a new growth scenario for the "post-Covid-19" period, preventing the province from falling into an economic recession and reducing growth drivers in the long term.

Simultaneously implementing many solutions
The Provincial People's Committee has come up with many synchronous solutions to help socio-economic development in the best way. Specifically, for the trade and service industries, the province will step up trade promotion activities, strengthen support for businesses to directly promote products to foreign markets; strengthen the management of e-commerce activities, create favorable conditions for businesses to promote their brands, introduce products, buy and sell goods through the provincial e-commerce exchange.
For the tourism industry, the province will implement a stimulus program to attract tourists; synchronously deploying communication activities under the theme "Safe Vietnam". In which, Khanh Hoa is a safe destination. At the same time, the province popularizes information about quality products and services as well as new and unique products with competitive price packages to attract tourists to Khanh Hoa. The province will implement a pilot plan to welcome international tourists with vaccine passports by charter flights under the guidance of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and in line with realities of the province.
In addition, departments, branches and localities have to synchronously implement solutions to attract capital to focus on investment in building key infrastructure, including effectively using public investment capital, focusing on allocating resources to accelerate the completion of key projects; striving to disburse 100% of the assigned annual capital plan; attracting foreign direct investment, associated with the requirements of advanced technology transfer and modern management, linking production along value chains with domestic private enterprises; implementing investment promotion programs in combination with trade and tourism promotion; focusing on on-the-spot investment promotion, strengthening online investment promotion, removing difficulties and obstacles for investors and enterprises in investment and business procedures.
In particular, the province will focus on developing Van Phong Economic Zone comprehensively to become a key area and driving force for economic development of the province.
