According to Truong Thanh Hoa - Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Ninh Hoa town, in the past 5 years, many farmers have tried to rise up, overcome difficulties and challenges, and become small business households. For example, Phan Kien Nghia's household (in Binh Thanh village, Ninh Binh commune) grows an area of more than 90 hectares of sugarcane and rice cultivation, provides transportation services, raises cows, etc. with a total annual revenue of up to 6 billion VND. After deducting expenses, his family earns 1 billion VND/year. Besides, he has also created regular jobs for 30-40 local workers and helped 4 poor households.
In Ninh Thuong commune, Nguyen Tien Cuong's household owns dozens of hectares of sugar cane, and grows mulberries to raise silkworms. His family has also converted 13ha of sugarcane to grow Australian mango and Thai jackfruit; converting 12 hectares of sugarcane to growing acacia. Every year, his family earns nearly 1 billion VND, creates regular jobs for 25 workers and helps 2 poor households repair houses. Or farmer Vo Van Bach (Tan Phong village, Ninh Xuan commune) specializes in growing sugarcane, fertilizers and pesticides, with a total income of 3 billion VND/year, after deducting costs, it is more than 800 million VND. He also created jobs for 20 seasonal workers, helped 5 poor households buy fertilizer with delayed payment. With 20 hectares of land, Le Hong Phuc's household (Suoi Sau village, Ninh Tan commune) has developed a variety of orchards, including mango, pomelo, coconut, acacia... He also raises 9 reproductive cows, 300 cows. goats..., each year giving an income of more than 600 million VND, helping 2 poor households have stable income and gradually reducing poverty.
According to Truong Thanh Hoa, in 2021 alone, 17,028 households achieved the title of agricultural production farmers at all levels. It is very precious that when they stabilize the economy and develop production, these farmers have made many positive contributions in helping other disadvantaged households to rise out of poverty together.

Cooperation for development
Along with the process of taking care of economic development, the agricultural production and business households in the town have become more and more aware of the importance of association and cooperation in the development of agricultural production and selling agricultural products. Like many other farmers in Ninh Dong commune, Le Thi Hoa grew vegetables to bring to the market. Over time, she boldly expanded the area of vegetables, applied VietGAP standards to production, actively campaigned to form a cooperative group, and then Ninh Dong Clean Vegetable Cooperative.
