When checking and giving gifts to workers who are erecting poles for 500kV Van Phong - Vinh Tan transmission line in Suoi Cat commune, Cam Lam district, Khanh Hoa province and the construction site in Ninh Loc commune, Ninh Hoa town, Pham Le Phu - General Director of the National Power Transmission Corporation assessed that the management unit and contractors had made great efforts in construction to achieve a large amount of work, ensuring the project schedule.
Nguyen Dinh Tho - Deputy Director of the Central Power Projects Project Management Board (CPMB) - the unit assigned to manage the project by the National Power Transmission Corporation, said that as of September 20, the 500kV Van Phong substation project and its connection have completed many important items. The construction unit has already prepared a plan and detailed construction and installation plan as soon as the transformer is handed over. For the connected 220kV line, the plan for site compensation, payment and handover has been completed. The work of erecting the pole has been nearly completed and 19.1/26.2km of the line has been done.

For the 500kV Van Phong - Vinh Tan transmission line project, so far, the handover of the location and corridor has been completed, more than 94% of the poles have been handed over. CPMB is actively working with the local People's Committees of Khanh Hoa province to solve problems arising in the process of pulling ropes, strengthen working with localities of Ninh Thuan province to speed up the progress of compensation and site clearance as planned.
At the meeting with leaders of the National Power Transmission Corporation, the construction contractors committed to basically complete the 500kV Van Phong substation and the connection line in October; basically complete the wire pulling work of the 500kV Van Phong - Vinh Tan transmission line project in mid-November. After that, experiments and adjustment wil be done to make the project ready for handover in November.
