According to the report of the Department of Industry and Trade, from 2012 to 2022, the department has consulted the provincial People's Committee to issue many plans to organize voting and developing typical rural industrial products at the provincial level. On that basis, the department guided districts, towns and cities to develop district-level voting plans and organize voting for typical rural industrial products according to requirements.
Up to now, the province has 192 rural industrial establishments supported to develop products and groups of products, such as: handicraft products; processing agricultural, forestry, aquatic products and food; spare parts, machinery, equipment, mechanics and other product groups. In addition, 33 projects with products voted for at provincial, regional and national levels were supported by the budget to invest and expand production of new products. Total funding for rural industrial facilities in the past 10 years has been more than 1.3 billion VND. In which, nearly 558 million VND is at district level, nearly 543.5 million VND at province level, more than 116.1 million VND at regional level and more than 85.1 million VND national level.
Most of the establishments with typical rural industrial products have domestic and foreign markets for consumption, including export; sales of products are always growing; establishments have created more stable jobs, increasing income for workers and contributing to the local budget. Among them, many rural industrial establishments have participated in social work, contributing to the construction of local new rural areas.

It is also an opportunity for businesses to promote research, connect trade, expand markets, learn management experience, improve competitiveness in the process of international economic integration. The selections have created a great motivation for rural industrial product manufacturing facilities to be more active in designing, improving technology, reducing product costs, and expanding production scale. Through 10 years of voting and supporting rural industrial establishments, many products with strong local and regional cultural identities have been introduced to serve tourism, partly increasing the industrial value of the province.

After 10 years of implementation, 6 districts, towns and cities have organized 5 selections for typical rural industrial products with 346 participating products. As a result, 321 products have selected as typical rural industrial products at district level. At the provincial level, 5 times of voting were held and 186 products achieved typical provincial IT products. In 10 years, the province has had 57 products registered to participate in the selection of typical rural industrial products at the Central - Central Highlands region. As a result, 36 products have won regional prizes and 21 products have been recognized as typical national rural industrial products by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
