According to Nguyen Tan Luc - Deputy General Director of Khanh Hoa PC, in order to ensure electricity safety, reduce power loss, meet the increasing demand for electricity, and meet the economic and social development orientation of Khanh Son district, every year, Khanh Hoa PC develops construction plans and implements projects to renovate, increase capacity and build new substations. In the period of 2020 - 2022, the company has invested more than 23 billion VND to implement projects and works to electrify concave areas according to the rural electrification program, to build new and upgrade substations, and to pull transmission lines. Particularly in 2021, the unit will invest in 5 work items with a capital of nearly 2.4 billion VND.

According to Le Huu Hoang - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the province has recently directed PC Khanh Hoa to make a plan to upgrade Khanh Son power grid to serve the local socio-economic development; request PC Khanh Hoa to check low voltage power grid in the district to have a plan to allocate capital. During the implementation process, in case of capital shortage, the Provincial People's Committee will create conditions for PC Khanh Hoa to borrow from the provincial Development Investment Fund. The power grid upgrade needs to be done right in 2023.
PC Khanh Hoa also determined that the investment in completing the power system to meet the current demand for Khanh Son requires a huge amount of capital. However, in the short term, to prevent overloading for the local power grid, in 2022, the company has allocated 8.9 billion VND to invest in these items. In particular, the anti-overload work in Khanh Son district has started construction in October and is expected to be completed on December 31, 2022. The project has a large construction volume, including: installing 2 new three-phase substations with a total capacity of 320kVA, increasing the capacity of transformers and equipment and accessories of 2 substations, construction and renovation, building 830m of medium voltage lines and 2,979m of low voltage lines.

According to Cam Ranh Khanh Son Electricity, when the project is put into operation, it will ensure the safety of the grid corridor as well as the quality of electricity to serve the local people, and in particular, to promptly meet the needs of rapid and sustainable economic development of the district, becoming a “small mountainous ecological city" as the target of Resolution No. 09-NQ/TW of the Politburo on building and developing Khanh Hoa province to 2030 with a vision to 2045.
It is known that in 2022, besides investing in Khanh Son power grid, PC Khanh Hoa has invested 342.2 billion VND to build power projects in the whole province. During the year, 45 works will be completed and put into use. Currently, the company is accelerating the construction of works, it is expected that by the end of December, 100% of the works will be completed in order to improve the efficiency of production and business units, and meet the development of economy - politics - culture - society of the province as well as serving the needs of local people's daily life.
