On February 27 afternoon, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam -Khanh Hoa Branch (Vietcombank Khanh Hoa) and Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. held a ceremony to sign a short-term credit contract of VND2,600 billion.
On February 27 afternoon, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam -Khanh Hoa Branch (Vietcombank Khanh Hoa) and Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. held a ceremony to sign a short-term credit contract of VND2,600 billion. Present at the signing ceremony were Ha Quoc Tri, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Khanh Hoa Province; Dinh Van Thieu, Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee.

Since its establishment, Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. has transacted with Vietcombank Khanh Hoa and used the bank’s products and services. Reportedly, in 2022, authorized by the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam, Vietcombank Khanh Hoa signed a short-term credit contract worth more than USD50 million to facilitate the production and shipbuilding activities of Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dinh Van Thieu highly appreciated the cooperation between Vietcombank Khanh Hoa and Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. to provide capital and jointly build and develop shipbuilding technology in the province. The cooperation of the two units is a typical example proving that Khanh Hoa is a stable and potential market for foreign investors to invest. The signing ceremony between Vietcombank Khanh Hoa and Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. is expected to promote the Bank-Business connection program in the province.
