Digital transformation in investment promotion

The opening of Khanh Hoa Province's investment promotion portal is an important step towards realizing the goal of taking science and technology as a driving force and a foundation for the socio-economic development of the province. Khanh Hoa province's investment promotion portal is a new set of tools to provide investors with information about the province's potentials and strengths; general indicators on the socio-economic situation; development goals and orientations associated with each region and priority sectors and industries to attract investment, and the list of projects calling for investment in the province. In particular, this website will effectively support investors in researching information on planning related to investment locations, investment implementation procedures for each project with flexible connection to the Provincial Online Public Administration Service Portal to carry out each type of procedure, thereby helping investors to research and learn about local investment opportunities conveniently, quickly and effectively. The website plays an important role, contributing to realizing the task of implementing Resolution 09 of the Politburo on construction and development of Khanh Hoa province to 2030, with a vision to 2045.

Investment promotion portal project in Khanh Hoa province was built by FPT Information System Company (a member of FPT Corporation). After nearly 2 months of working with the provincial Department of Planning and Investment, the Department of Information and Communications and relevant units, on March 31, the project was completed on schedule. Right on the first day of implementation, the system recorded more than 12,000 visits to look up data and information about the province's projects. Now, it has over 10,000 visits per day.
Chau Ngo Anh Nhan - Deputy Director in charge of Department of Planning and Investment said: “The investment promotion portal was launched on the occasion of the province's 370th anniversary of construction and development; 48 years of Khanh Hoa province's liberation day. This event has many meanings. It is the result of cooperation efforts between the province and FPT Corporation on promoting digital transformation. I believe that the portal will be an effective support tool for the province in investment promotion, creating an important bridge to bring useful information to investors in the coming time."

According to the report of the provincial People's Committee, up to now, Khanh Hoa Province has attracted 119 foreign investment projects with a total registered capital of 4.39 billion USD, ranking 23/63 localities. From 2020 to now, there have been 7 new projects with a total registered capital of 119.85 million USD. Regarding domestic investment, the province has attracted nearly 500 projects with a total registered capital of more than 480,000 billion VND; From 2020 to now, there have been 44 projects with a total registered capital of more than 12,000 billion VND. In that context, the opening of Khanh Hoa Province Investment Promotion Portal plays an important role, helping investors have tools to learn about local strengths. Up to now, Khanh Hoa Provincial Investment Promotion Portal is the first and only system that is directly connected to the updated planning data of the province, ensuring the highest accuracy of information of projects.
