Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just issued the Economic Growth Plan to 2025. Thereby, the goal is to strive for the province's gross domestic product (GRDP) in the period of 2021 - 2025 to increase from 7.8 to 9% per year.
Focusing on main tasks
In order to achieve the set goals, in the coming time, the Provincial People's Committee will focus on organizing the effective implementation of the action program to implement the resolutions of the Party congresses at all levels and the resolutions of the Central Committee on building and developing the country; strengthening the economic structure associated with renovating the growth model; focusing on developing important groups of industries, bringing high value to the economy of the province. In which, the province will focus on developing new, high-class and unique tourism products and services; diversify tourist markets, targeting domestic tourists and international tourist markets with high affordability such as Korea, Japan, Singapore, Europe, Australia and America; accelerating the development of seaport services, shipping and logistics; building advanced research and education centers and developing smart cities; investing in infrastructure of economic zones, industrial parks and industrial clusters.
In addition, the Provincial People's Committee aims to improve the efficiency of agricultural development, strongly develop the fishing industry in association with large fisheries centers and high-tech, environmentally friendly marine farming and focusing on items of high economic value for export. Besides, the province will increase the mobilization and effective use of resources for investment in socio-economic development and investment in infrastructure; resolutely reduce projects that are not urgent, not really necessary and are no longer in line with the provincial development planning and orientation. At the same time, the province will focus on directing, urging and drastically speeding up the progress of key national and provincial projects in order to ensure the quality and the prescribed schedule, especially the site clearance to serve the construction projects. Van Phong - Nha Trang Expressway Project and Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Project; projects under the program of socio-economic recovery and development; projects under national target programs and some other important infrastructure projects. In particular, the province will give priority to attracting investment into Van Phong Economic Zone in the period to 2025 according to Resolution No. 55 of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Khanh Hoa province.

Raising breakthrough solutions
In order to effectively carry out the tasks set out, the province will make breakthroughs in implementing administrative reform, improving the business investment environment to enhance investment attraction, and mobilizing resources for socio-economic development of the province; improve the Provincial Competitiveness Index. Besides, the province will improve the quality of human resources, especially in important industries such as tourism, processing industry, manufacturing, logistics services, seaports, fisheries and fisheries logistics and information technology; promote digital transformation in all industries and fields, develop smart applications to serve people, businesses and visitors.
