Work begins on Khanh Hoa – Buon Ma Thuot motorway

On June 18, in Ho Chi Minh City, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended a ground-breaking ceremony for 3 projects on motorways 247 km in total length with a total capital of VND115,000 billion. The projects include a ring road 3 Ho Chi Minh City and Khanh Hoa – Buon Ma Thuot and Bien Hoa – Vung Tau motorways.

The Khanh Hoa – Buon Ma Thuot motorway, phase 1, has a total length of 117.5km with a total capital of nearly VND21,000 billlion. The project includes 3 component projects funded by the government. The component project funded by Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has a length of 31.5 km.

The Khanh Hoa – Buon Ma Thuot motorway is designed to have 4 lanes at a maximum speed of 100km/hour, 21 bridges and 3 intersections.
