Khanh Hoa delegation works with Consulate General of Vietnam in New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and businesses in Australia

Khanh Hoa provincial delegation led by Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee had a working session with Nguyen Dang Thang, Consul General of Vietnam in New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia and some Consulate General officials at the Foreign Affairs Headquarters of the Consulate General of Vietnam in News South Wales, Queensland and South Australia in Sydney City on July 27.

Nguyen Tan Tuan gave an overview of provincial socio-economic development strategies, emphasizing the joint effort of the whole province to deal with and overcome Covid-19 challenges to achieve encouraging results. Khanh Hoa reached the highest GRDP growth rate in Vietnam in 2022.

The delegation also thanked Vietnamese representative agencies in Australia, including News South Wales, Queensland and South Australia for supporting and coordinating in developing the mission program; and suggested the Consulate General would continue giving support for developing cooperation projects between Khanh Hoa and Australian partners.

The provincial delegation works with some businesses in Australia.

Consul General Nguyen Dang Thang thanked Khanh Hoa delegation for the working visit to Sydney, Australia; confirming that Vietnamese representative agencies in Australia, the Consulate General of Vietnam in News South Wales, Queensland and South Australia are always willing to support Khanh Hoa Province in cooperation with localities in Australia.

After the working session, thanks to the Consulate General of Vietnam in News South Wales, Queensland and South Australia, Khanh Hoa delegation also had an opportunity to have an exchange and working session with some Vietnamese and Australian enterprises and associations. The delegation informed about local socio-economic development and introduced Khanh Hoa Provincial Investment Promotion Portal to businesses.

Vietnamese businesses expressed their sentiment towards the homeland with the hope to contribute to the socio-economic development of the home country; suggested cooperation in economic development, investment, tourism through cinema, labor training, etc. Australian business delegates suggested some cooperation contents in tourism, investment and so on.

The Provincial People's Committee Chairman highly appreciates suggestions of business delegates in Australia.

After listening to business delegates' ideas and suggestions, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan confirmed that Khanh Hoa Province always creates favorable conditions for reputable and capable businesses to survey and invest in the province and hoped Khanh Hoa Province will receive many Australian and Vietnamese businesses to invest in tourism, liquefied petroleum gas, renewable energy, etc. in Australia in the near future.

Within the framework of the program, enterprises of Khanh Hoa delegation met with Australian and Vietnamese associations and businesses in Australia.
