Besides helping people enjoy peace of mind about the origin of the fruits, it has also contributed to promoting the brand of fruits from Ninh Hoa.

According to Vo Phi Hai - Deputy Director of Co.opmart Nha Trang, the supermarket always supports and facilitates for Vietnamese suppliers. All products are of clear origin and have certificates such as high quality Vietnamese goods, OCOP... QR codes has been required by Co.opmart; however, some suppliers have QR codes actively. The image as well as the information on the package is confirmed by the Saigon Coop. Saigon Coop encourages businesses to have QR codes on products, especially agricultural products, so that customers can easily find necessary information about the product.

According to a representative of the provincial Sub-Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality, currently, businesses and farm owners, before putting their products on the market, are mainly granted codes, barcodes, stamps and certificates of assurance of quality, food safety and origin on products. Attaching QR code on agricultural products is not mandatory, mainly because the farm owners want to promote more about their products. However, this is also a good way for consumers to know the origin and feel more secure when buying and using the products.
