On August 14, Tran Hoa Nam, Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting with some provincial departments, agencies, localities and the investor of Khanh Hoa Waste Power Plant Project on the implementation of the project.

The project is invested by KH New City Joint Stock Company and is expected to be implemented in Suoi Cat Commune (Cam Lam District) with a total investment of VND3,250 billion. The plant has a generating capacity of 32MW and a capacity of 1,000 tons of dry waste/day/night.
Concluding the meeting, Tran Hoa Nam directed the provincial departments, agencies and sectors to support the investor with favorable conditions to implement the project soon in order to solve environmental problems in the province. He also requested the units to calculate provisional unit prices for waste treatment of Khanh Hoa Waste Power Plant.
