Wherever rice is harvested, it is bought right at the field, according to the market price, so farmers can feel secure. The cooperative has also provided almost all services in terms of fertilizer, soil preparation, care, harvesting, etc.; so, the members no longer have to spend a day or two as before. Compared with Dien Khanh, farmers in Van Ninh district and Ninh Hoa town harvest rice earlier. At Ninh Hoa granary where nearly 8,800ha of summer-autumn rice is at the time of most mass harvest, farmers have harvested nearly 5,000ha, the average yield is estimated at 58-60 quintals/ha, mainly varieties ML48, ML202 and Dai Thom 8. In Van Ninh, out of 3,247ha of rice, farmers have harvested about 2,600ha with the average yield of about 62 quintals/ha, according to Nguyen Ngoc Y - Head of Van Ninh District Economic Department.

Similarly, the cooperatives in Dien Khanh also said that the production of the crop is often flooded by rain, causing loss of varieties, so almost no one produces.

According to the leader of the provincial Sub-Department of Cultivation and Plant Protection, the whole province sown 18,138ha of this year's summer-autumn rice crop. Up to now, farmers have harvested 9,515 hectares, the yield is estimated at 60 quintals/ha, the output is estimated at 108,828 tons. It is expected that in early September, farmers in the whole province will finish harvesting. Thanks to the sharp increase in rice prices, currently 8,500 - 9,000 VND/kg, most farmers are excited when the rice is in bumper crop. The 2023 crop is expected to sow 6,800ha.
