Khatoco Khanh Hoa Cigarette Factory inaugurated

Khanh Viet Corporation (Khatoco) held the inauguration ceremony of Khatoco Khanh Hoa Cigarette Factory at Trang E Industrial Cluster (Suoi Cat Commune, Cam Lam District) on August 29. Present at the ceremony were Nguyen Khac Toan, Standing Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ha Quoc Tri, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Khanh Hoa Province; Le Huu Hoang, Standing Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and Tran Manh Dung, Standing Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

Khatoco Khanh Hoa Cigarette Factory in Trang E Industrial Cluster has a total investment of VND581 billion with a total area of 119,500 m2, 3 times larger than the old factory. Its newly invested tobacco processing line with a capacity of 21,600 tons/year is considered the most modern one in Southeast Asia.

Khanh Viet Corporation started the construction project of Khatoco Khanh Hoa Cigarette Factory in July 2019 to implement the policy of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee on relocating the factory from Binh Tan area (Vinh Truong Ward, Nha Trang City) to Trang E Industrial Cluster as part of the planning project of Nha Trang City. The project coming into operation has created jobs for 650 workers.
