Total seafood output of Khanh Hoa in January reaches over 8,180 tonnes

According to a report of Khanh Hoa Province People's Committee, the province’s total seafood output in January 2024 has reached over 8,180 tonnes, including nearly 7,596 tonnes of fish, over 315 tonnes of shrimp and over 269 tonnes of other seafood. The figure shows a growth of 9% compared to the same period last year.

Regarding fishing, thanks to recent favorable weather, Khanh Hoa’s fishing output has been quite good. Besides, there has been a growth in consumption demand on Tet occasion, so many fishing vessels in the province have gone out to sea, resulting in nearly 7,879 tonnes of seafood output, an increase of 2.04% compared to the same time last year. Regarding aquaculture, marine fish and blue lobster haven been highly consumed.
